The Sylvie Cachay Memorial Project began by a collaborative effort of Sylvie's friends and family who have mobilized to ensure that an unspeakable tragedy results in some positive benefit by supporting the causes closest to Sylvie.

The foundation is a public 501(c)(3) charity established to primarily foster the growth of the arts while also supporting other causes Sylvie supported (including Operation Smile and women and animal issues). The majority of contributions to the foundation will assist artists and designers in their climb for improvement (primarily via scholarships, mentoring, and internships) and a smaller portion of contributions will be utilized to provide support though other foundations and charitable organizations. The Sylvie Cachay Memorial Project will honor Sylvie and carry on with Sylvie’s life-long effort to use her creativity and talent to help others. All donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and will truly assist those Sylvie assisted when she was alive.

Support of the project in any capacity - time, energy, word of mouth, or monetary donations - will constitute an invaluable part of an ongoing effort to bring a greater good to the world. Just by reading this you have contributed to this effort in spirit. As Sylvie did, we love you and your family and all of your friends. Your support is everything.
